In 2014, he replaced Brent Musburger as host of the Saturday Night Football program on ABC, placing him on ESPN's Top Announcement Team alongside Kirk Herbstreit of Gameday University; this means that he will also be selected to announce one of the two College Football League semi-finals and the National College Football Championship.
